![]() So moving from 2016 to a newer version would require some work on your part. The formulas are basically unchanged but the whole reporting mechanism has been totally made over. The more you complicate it the more difficult it is to maintain, especially when upgrading to a newer version.ΔΆ018 included a massive upgrade to SoftList. Out of the box it is set up based on years of experience and by design. I wouldn't try to over complicate SoftList. ![]() Do you order the same exact grade and species of all material sizes? For instance, if you order #2 SYP for your joists do you also order the same grade and species for all your rafters, studs, etc? In my opinion you should order based on how the material is to be used rather than trying to combine everything down to a single generic type. into a single list you would have to use the "Accumulate" calculation method to combine all the different material groups into a single formula which would then list the materials. If you wish to combine all the different material types, such as rafters, joists, etc. Looking at 2018, which does have the Summary report, the report is identical to the "Complete" report except that the Complete report includes additional columns for items such as Markup %, and Labor/Unit. ![]() Summary Report: My version 2016 doesn't have a Summary report either. Cutlist: Have you gone through and edited the material formulas and changed the Order Length for materials to something other than Minimize Waste? If so then that is why you are not getting a Cutlist report. ![]()
